I’ve wanted to meet Lynn Whipple for so many years.  Lynn was one of the first mixed media artists that caught my attention.  Her work was popular long before the current mixed media craze.  Well my dream came true last weekend.  Lynn taught a two day workshop at Whimzey House…the over the top amazing house of Kiaralinda and Todd located in Safety Harbor, Florida.  We had a blissful evening meet and greet to kick off our magical weekend..also met Lynn’s wonderful husband John…John is a fantastic artist as well.  Todd and John were available to offer direction or cut a custom size piece of wood if we needed it.  Saturday evening we went on a sunset cruise aboard Kiaralinda and Todd’s floating living room.  It was so fun to meet so many creative, fun people and gracious people.  The one problem was the workshop just wasn’t long enough…none of us wanted to leave!!!  The icing on the cake….Lynn and I are going to co-teach a four day beach workshop in 2013…stay tuned!!!
