Should I Hesitate – Should I JUMP

We’ve All Heard It,
Jump…and the Net Will Appear
BUT WILL IT???

I just read a great quote from James Clear, “Your success depends on the risks you take. Your survival depends on the risks you avoid.”

It’s true…and also, at the end of life, do you think success is what you’ll ponder? I think I’ll ponder memories, such as the amazing birthday celebration I just had with a friend I hadn’t seen in many years, enjoying all the Pacific Coast Hwy has to offer.

So, I like to use experiences as my barometer when making a decision. When I consider whether to say yes or no to an experience, I imagine if the experience and the resulting memory will bring my soul happiness.
I also think about the person or situation I’m engaging with and the place I’m going. Does the person, situation, and place make me smile?

There was a time when decisions froze me. I considered every detail and approached life like a deer in the headlights.
I realized my thoughts weren’t the only way to approach decisions, and often they were filled with gloom and doom outcomes.

I found intuition a more adventurous way to make choices. After all, even if a decision goes sideways, we learn something.
Using our intuition to decide when to hesitate and when to jump involves tuning into our inner voice and trusting our instincts. Intuition is like a muscle that gets stronger with use, so it’s helpful to practice listening to it in small, everyday decisions.

It is informative to pay attention to how we feel physically and emotionally when considering our options. If we feel a sense of peace and clarity, it may be time to leap. If we feel uneasy or uncertain, it might be wise to hesitate and gather more information.

Jumping and hesitation can both be guided by intuition—a gut feeling that tells you it’s the right time to act or not.
As we learn to trust intuition, it can be empowering, as it taps into our subconscious wisdom and past experiences.
Whether it’s starting a new business, pursuing a passion project, or entering a new relationship, taking the leap requires courage and the belief that you can handle whatever comes your way.

If you have a pattern of hesitating, practice taking a leap in baby steps — more like a hop, lol. You’ll get so brave, free-falling will become the norm, and you will trust the net will appear, and you’ll find your decision will be in alignment with your soul’s true desires.

Big love to all of you. Thanks so much for being here, e’Layne
1  Practice to Tune into Your Body
When you have a decision to make, tune into your body and feel if there is tension or a sense of ease.

2 Shifts to Observe the Mind…with curiosity and an open heart.
Reflect on your childhood to gather information about how you approached life. Were you hesitant or adventurous?
Observe other people’s behavior when it comes to decision-making… not to judge them, simply to observe different ways of approaching decisions.

3 Quotes and a Question to Awaken the Soul
“Intuition is the whisper of the soul.”                                                                      – Krishnamurti
“Intuition will tell the thinking mind where to look next.”                                     – Jonas Salk
“When you stop thinking and start feeling, you begin to have a stronger intuition.”                                                                       – Shannon L. Alder

And drumroll…the Question
Are you more of a hesitant person or a quick decision-maker? Do you feel either way of being makes you happy and fulfilled?
