Over the next couple of weeks…besides flying to Greenville, SC, to take care of my grandson for the very first time (so excited), I will be uploading two online classes. The picture above is what we’ll make in the Wise Women Memory Keepers class. I will also be launching “I AM” Cards –  Arty Affirmation Reminders to Release Limiting Thoughts and Behaviors. Both of these projects help us change the beliefs and behaviors that weigh us down…so we can be light, creative, and happy in this world that is filled with challenges.

Life is More Interesting When We’re Curious!
During the most stuck periods in my life, I was searching for a definitive solution to my angst. I was “me” focused…serious, and unsettled.
Why? I was looking for solutions outside myself, but was extremely limited in imagining outside my myopic scope of reference.
How do we emerge from our locked-in beliefs, opinions, and judgments of ourselves and others?

Let’s get curious!
Curiosity blows the lid off what we think we know, helping us expand our horizons, and is a powerful catalyst for personal growth and transformation. It invites us to step beyond the confines of our established belief systems and explore the vast landscape of human experience with an open mind.
By nurturing curiosity, we can break free from rigid thinking and embrace a more fluid, adaptive approach to life.
From a young age, we often adopt belief systems that shape our understanding of the world. These beliefs, while providing a sense of security and predictability, can also limit our perspectives. We may assume that others perceive life in the same way we do, leading to misunderstandings and missed opportunities for deeper connection. By cultivating curiosity, we can challenge these assumptions and engage with others in meaningful ways.
One way to foster curiosity is by asking questions—genuine, open-ended questions that invite others to share their thoughts and experiences. When we approach conversations with the intent to learn rather than to confirm our own beliefs, we open ourselves to new insights and possibilities. This practice not only enriches our understanding of others but also broadens our horizons.
The next time we want to interrupt a conversation with advice or an opinion, let’s pause and think of a good question to ask. It opens doors to authenticity and deep connection.

1  Practice to Tune into Your Body
When you are about to share your opinion, stop and experience how you feel in your body. Take a deep breath and release your opinion.

2 Shifts to Observe the Mind…with curiosity and an open heart
Approach every situation as if you are seeing it for the first time, much like a beginner or a child would.
Challenge your assumptions and expand your thinking by asking “What if?” questions. For example, if you’re faced with a familiar situation, ask yourself, “What if there’s another perspective I haven’t considered?”

3 Quotes and a Question to Awaken the Soul
“I have no special talents. I am only passionately curious.”  – Albert Einstein
“The wise man doesn’t give the right answers, he poses the right questions.”  – Levi Strauss
“We keep moving forward, opening new doors, and doing new things, because we’re curious and curiosity keeps leading us down new paths.” –  Walt Disney

And drumroll…the Question
What can I learn from this situation or person that I don’t already know?
